Basic Obedience

Our Basic Obedience is the next step before a Started/Junior dog is ready to go to the next level of retriever training. We take what the puppy has learned in the Puppy Head Start Program and fine tune it. This is where we start bringing it all together. The commands sit, heel, here, no, and their name are imphasized to a higher degree. We start applying small amouts of pressure to the dog to behave or perform as expected. The puppy is held to higher expectations. Commands are now to be followed with no exceptions. After the puppy has been through Basic Obedience they are ready to be a fun obedient family pet or move to the Started/Junior Level Training.
